Project 75: Week Four - Strength, Art, and New Experiences
Share
As I close out week four of Project 75, I'm filled with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. This week has been a beautiful blend of maintaining challenge commitments while exploring new creative and wellness opportunities.
Staying Strong and Consistent
The fourth week brought with it a noticeable increase in strength. While I'm eager to lift heavier weights, I'm practicing patience and trusting the process. Success this week came in many forms:
- Maintained clean eating habits
- Kept up with daily sketching
- Stayed consistent with vitamin supplementation
- Hit all my workout targets
OTP by Stick No Bills: Where Art Meets Community
Saturday brought an exciting opportunity at the OTP event by Stick No Bills, hosted at the Nomad Bar in 25H hotel. From 3 PM to 8 PM, the venue transformed into a vibrant marketplace celebrating South Asian culture through brands, food, and live music.
For this live interactive painting session, I chose to create a unique interpretation of the Queen of Hearts card featuring Goddess Kali. While Kali is often associated with darkness and death, she embodies so much more β destruction, rebirth, and empowerment. These themes perfectly align with my core philosophy in both art and fitness, making it an ideal choice for the event.
A huge thank you to Aaron (@aaronprettyfast) and Jeff (@djjeffdxb) for organizing such an incredible event that brought our community together. Their vision created a space where art, culture, and connection could flourish.
Sunday Serenity: First Time at Ekaya
After the excitement of Saturday's event, Sunday called for something different. Together with my bestie Kay, I ventured into new territory β my first-ever Pilates and yoga session at Ekaya. What a revelation! The experience was exactly what I needed to reset and prepare for the week ahead. Finding this perfect balance of relaxation and movement was rejuvenating for both body and mind.
Reflecting on the Journey
As we approach the halfway point of Project 75, I can't help but feel proud of how far I've come. This challenge has evolved into something more meaningful than just a fitness journey β it's becoming a lesson in:
- Honoring my body's capabilities
- Embracing new experiences
- Finding joy in movement
- Building sustainable healthy habits
The privilege of movement has taken on new meaning through this challenge. Each day teaches me more about loving and respecting my body, while maintaining a lifestyle that supports both physical and mental well-being.
Looking Ahead
Entering week five, I'm more excited than ever. This journey has already taught me so much about myself and what I'm capable of. I hope that by sharing my experiences, others might feel inspired to reconnect with their own body, mind, and spirit.
Sometimes, all we need is a little movement to spark tremendous change. As I've learned, that movement can come in many forms β whether it's lifting weights, creating art, or trying something new like Pilates and yoga.
Here's to the next half of Project 75, to new experiences, and to continued growth! πͺπ¨β¨
